Hi Folks!
I haven't been blogging, or doing much of anything, for a few weeks. To be honest, I have been struggling just to "stay afloat!" My job will end on the 30th and that has hit me quite hard, since my husband has been either underemployed or unemployed for almost two years now! I just didn't have anything to blog about through the tears. Sorry for the inconsistency! Anyway, I am feeling better and need to get back into this discipline. Blogging is supposed to be an uplifting thing for both the reader and the writer, so it's time for me to buck up and shut up!So, today I would like to show you what has kept me partially sane through all this. My little patio garden!
Veggies, cilantro and lettuce! |
Strawberry pot with lots blossoms! |
I had these two pots last year filled with Zinnias and alyssum. The Alyssum made it thru the winter and are beginning to bloom again! Maybe it's a good sign and I will begin to blossom again too!

sorry you have been having some rough times. nice patio garden. I just got a little lily plant and i'm hoping it survives. we don't get much sun and i have a habit of killing plants.
Sorry about the bad times. I love to work in my yard/garden also!! Of course anything I plant has to be able to withstand lots of HOT sun!!! Enjoy the things that make you feel good. And good luck!
Nice to see you back again, and sure enjoy your sharing your patio garden. Mouthwatering over the strawberries! Gardening can be very comforting and healing, I miss the opportunity to do it now that I no longer can.
isn't it great how those perennials will make it full circle through the years. I guess that's like all life - puts me in awe at times. Love the little strawberry plants - those are so cute! You're inspiring! {:-D
(((hugs))) Praying that you spring up just like your lovely plants! This is a good time for renewal - Rom. 12:2 - think I'll go work on that, too =) Thanks for the reminder!
Glad to see you back Linda :) Been thinking about your during your time away...sending hugs your way!
