I am helping babysit two of my grands this weekend, while their mother and dad (my second son--"Number 2 Son" as Charlie Chaplin would say!) have a much needed weekend away. They have four children all under the age of nine! We have the two youngest here this weekend. In fact, my youngest daughter just texted me: "Are you coming over after lunch? Vivi is asking for her grandma." So I need to finish this post and get going for a day of play with Vivienne, age 3 and Jubilee, age one.
I leave you with one "grandma story":
Recently Vivienne was found, at her home, sitting in the window atop the buffet table with a pillow in her lap. She had been quiet for quite a while and so when we investigated, this is how we found her:
She had no explanation, was just sitting there quietly sticking pins in the pillow. Her mom says that she loves crafts! That's my girl!

What a cutie -- she's getting an early start!! Have fun with the grandlets!
She's a sweetie pie! And careful enough not to stick herself with the pins!
She's going to be quite the crafter :)
I would have stuck myself 10 times by now...LOL!
That's pretty adorable.
aawww...she's so cute! a crafter for sure!
Oh do post about your grandkids whenever you like!
She is on the right track! And while in her pearls, too:)
Hi Linda, cute pincushion. Thanks for visiting my blog. I am okay just went through traveling about and then a bout of depression. Hard to get back into the swing of things but I will be back to blogging soon.
What fun! Enjoy your 'grand time'!!!! What a cutie =) and soooo busy with her crafting. Very cute pin cushion!
She's just starting young! That's awesome. Have fun with your grandkids today.
she must have seen someone crafting! Good for her! If she was quiet, then it meant she didn't stick herself. Better than me! {:-D
How sweet! I think that would be very satisfying, tactile fun!
