For the last several weeks, I have been accumulating the necessary beads and components to make myself a necklace. I've been looking forward to creating a beautiful piece. Today I started it . . . and stopped creating it! It just wasn't turning out like I intended. Has that even happened to you? I'm sure that it has. We have a definite creative idea in our minds, but translating it into being is another story! So . . . . I am turning my work into a bracelet that I will eventually put up for sale in my design shop. Oh well . . . .

Turning your necklace into a bracelet for sale is one good way to achieve a happy ending. Sometimes it can also help to put a project aside for awhile, then come back to it with fresh eyes and ideas. Rich colors in that piece, thanks for sharing its story.
Yes, that happens often enough, but on occasion it turns out better than I expected.

I don't do good when I push myself... sometimes I go through long spans of sitting down at the computer and not the work table!
