Shop Closing

Over the last few years, I have made jewelry.  It's been a fun experience, but I now see the need to
"narrow my repertoire".  Fabric has taken over my passion, so I will be closing my Design shop for good! Everything left in my shop is drastically reduced!  Use Coupon Code in the shop announcement for current discount.

Here's a reminiscent look a a few of my favorite pieces.

Please take a look, there is more than just jewelry in my shop -- it all has to go by Jan 31st!
Thanks for looking!

Celebrating . . .

Celebrating Aprons!

I recently did some preliminary work for a local, yet international, factory/retail business toward the opening of a new small gift shop in their factory tour facility. (Their larger retail facility is shown here.)

I did a prototype apron for them.  The buyer wanted a vintage style apron that they could attach their logo to.  After being submitted, it had an "on again, off again" relationship with the company officials.  But finally, an initial order for three aprons "to try" has come thru!  I am so celebrating! (And sewing, of course!) Once they are in the shop, I will show you a photo! But for now . . . .

. . . . to celebrate, I am offering the aprons that I have in my Etsy shop at HALF OFF!  You can share the celebration with me!  I would like to offer some new styles in my Etsy shop, especialy if this wholesale order takes off, so I am clearing out my existing aprons.  This is a great time for a SALE, since it is wedding season!  Also coming up are backyard BBQ's for the holidays.  Treat yourself to a new apron (you'll look so cute in it!) or purchase one to give as a gift!  Be sure to use coupon code APRON12 to get the huge discount!

Iced Coffee!

It's been exceptionally hot here in the Pacific Northwest lately and the heat is expected to continue for the rest of the week. How about making an iced coffee! I usually have some coffee left over from my morning pot. We then end up pouring the remainder down the drain when we are finished. So, recently, I have starting saving it for my afternoon iced coffee! Here's my recipe!

Fill a tall glass 3/4 full with crushed ice
Add cold coffee to the 3/4 mark
Add milk to the top
Then add your favorite coffee flavoring to taste!
(I prefer sugar-free vanilla)
Stir with a tall spoon and ENJOY!

Of course in the heat, your glass will sweat profusely, just like all the people are doing! You will need a coaster to save your table or desk top from getting wet! I have lots of cute fabric coasters in my shop and I'm running a "BOGO SALE" -- buy one get one free sale. Buy one set of coasters and get another free with your purchase! Essentially, that is HALF PRICE!

Save the second set to give as a hostess gift or to add to a brides gift basket for a shower!
