Well, I did it!

Well, I did it!  I closed my Design Shop, which mostly carried jewelry (and some fancy pouches)!  I am finding another venue for these items, hopefully a booth in a local craft mall for the jewelry with the pouches going exclusively into my craft show stock!  Changes are inevitable in our world and this one is being embraced wholeheartedly by me! (And it is a part of my business focus for 2013!)
Why did you do it? you say!  Well, after being open since June 2009, having 187 admirers, and only 36 sales, I think it was time!  I "gave it a good go"  as the old saying goes!

What am I going to do now?  We if you know me at all, you know that I love all kinds of craft mediums--fabrics, beads, paper, whatever!  So the shop will be renamed, in late Spring, and carry a new product!  I'm not revealing what the product is at this point ( I am still working on my inventory), but it is quite exciting, to me anyway, and I hope it will be to you also!  Here's a sneak peak of one item, of course, not a full picture, that would not be as fun as a surprise!

I will keep you updated about the new grand opening in Late March or Early April!  Can't wait.

And what about my other shops?  PruittCreations and PruittSupply -I still have them!  I am also working on several new items for the Creations Shop (I'll share one of them tomorrow) and will of course be posting many more yo yos and vintage supplies in my Supply Shop!  I love keeping busy!

Well, that's what's new in my life!
What is new you your crafty world?

Congrats to you on such a brave step. Sometimes it's hard to let go of something you've put so much time and effort into. But it sounds like you have a focus and a plan!

Oh, how exciting! I love your drive. It's so hard to be a success on etsy, that you really do have to rethink a lot from time to time. Good luck with the changes!

Wow, I didn't realize you had three shops! That makes me tired just thinking about it. :-)

Good luck with the changes! I think it's great that you knew when to do something differently; not everyone does.
