Thinking . . . Feeling . . . Future?

Ever felt like everything was barren in your life?  Kinda like my garden plot when we first started it? Knowing that you have done and are doing all the right things;  preparing for a future.    Like---I really don't know if everything is really going to turn out the way you want it to.   Like--knowing if Spring is really going to get here or not. . . . I feel that way now.  Kinda concerned.

You worry that if it does turn out, it may look like this:

And not lilke this:

In my dreams I want it (my future) to look like a beautiful, producing garden that is refreshing  . . .

And beautiful to everyone who happens by . . .

But, today, I have my doubts.  "Doubting Thomas!" you say, "Spring will get here, soon enough!" you say.  Well, today is today, and I just don't feel it.   Ever felt like that?

Yeah... But I am so glad that Spring does come!

Yes, I do to. Especially when the seasons begin to change. Tomorrow is a new day, though for all of our blossoming gardens.

Yup, we all have those days!
I just try to see the dandilions as flowers :) It's all about perspective :)

Thanks ladies! I needed the encouragement. It makes me *smile*
Edi-- You're an optimist, aren't you?!!

I know exactly what you mean. You plant the seeds for your life and then have faith that they will turn into something beautiful. And they will - all you have to do now is sit back and watch the beauty bloom. :)

oh yeah! Like "when am I ever going to get out of debt?" That's a long ways away... But some times, I don't even think about it!

Of course, Linda! Edi is right to see the dandelions as flowers. Not easy, mind you. However, joy is an indescribable attribute that doesn't come from outside circumstances. I wish for you that kind of joy. Hang in there. Know there are many that care.
