The Garden Gate

 . . . . is it an entrance to a secret garden?
 . . . . the alley entrance to the backyard?
 . . . . the vegetable garden?
 . . . . or a private garden for meditation?

for me it is . . . . a song:

In the Garden
by C. Austin Miles

I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.

Refrain:
And He walks with me,
and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.

thank you for stopping by my blog! funny because i've had your blog open since this morning waiting for me to come back to the computer to comment on it! love your gate sketch and the lyrics--i love that the gate retains the detail and the rest of the fence is just implied--great job!
