Seal Antics

As promised, here are the pictures of a seal at Yaquina Head State Park.  We visited the Lighthouse, then an old quarry where we found several seals lazily relaxing on the rocks just a stone's throw from the human viewing platform. This one seal was not sleeping like the rest of them, but seemed to relish the attention of all the onlookers.  I really don't know what he was doing, it looked like calisthenics and he just kept doing all these 'stretching exercises?'  I  just kept shooting to get these pictures.

Sorry, the pictures are not more crisp and clear.  My photo program is not working well. Pooh!
Anyway, enjoy the seal antics!

Cute photos! I love watching the seals at the coast but haven't seen any that wanted attention like that one! Thanks for sharing your photos!

what a fun time s/he's having! I remember when I lived in Calif. over 25 years ago, and the oil spill. I felt so bad for the seals!

Oh my gosh! That is amazing, my face has a pudding smile on it. That seal is posing for everyone! Never saw one that color, or in real like.

Linda, that is one cute seal. I love seals, they make me smile. I haven't been to the Oregon Coast to see the seals for quite a while. Used to go to the Sea Lion Caves at least once a year but not anymore. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
